Rosenåens

Rosenåens is a small home-based breeding kennel in Lundby focusing on FT-Labrador Retrievers. The breeding programme is aimed at homes seeking an active dog for hunting, tracking or other forms of dog sports. Emphasis is placed on the breed’s working abilities and on dogs that can be part of everyday family life. The breeding goal is to preserve the Labrador Retriever’s hunting instincts in healthy dogs with a good temperament. Rosenåens therefore works with FT-Labradors that possess both the desire and the abilities for the tasks the breed was developed for, while also being able to function as family dogs. Prospective owners should be prepared to train the dog and give it the opportunity to use its natural abilities. FT-Labrador Retrievers need activity and mental stimulation, and the breeding programme therefore places emphasis on matching this with the expectations of the future home.
