Rigoletto’s is a dog breeding kennel in Herten that has existed since 2001 and belongs to the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. The focus is on terriers whose everyday life is closely integrated into the home environment. The dogs live in the house and use the garden; walks and activities at the dog training ground complement their daily care. The dogs’ development also includes targeted training. Puppies take part in a puppy group from the tenth week of life. The adult dogs are engaged in basic training and obedience, among other things with a view to the companion dog test. In this way, the kennel builds on their pronounced eagerness to learn and willingness to work. Shows are also a permanent part of Rigoletto’s breeding activities. There, the dogs are presented and their development is assessed in comparison. The kennel regards successes and titles won as a pleasing recognition of the shared work with the dogs and as a complement to training, activities and everyday life.
