Retriever vom Hembachtal

Retriever vom Hembachtal runs a family Golden Retriever hobby breeding program in Mittelhembach, not far from the Franconian Lake District. The dogs are not kept in kennels, but as part of the family, and can freely use the house and garden. The wish for a dog of their own was fulfilled in 2003; the enthusiasm for the breed soon led to the decision to begin breeding. The breeding facility has existed since 2006 and is registered with and protected by the IRJGV. The focus is on the health of the breed, its friendly nature and the willingness to work typical of Golden Retrievers. The FCI standard serves as a binding guideline. Earlier dogs from the breeding program were consistently rated “excellent” at shows; the subsequent breeding bitches also achieved good health results and their first show titles. Several litters have already been raised in the family environment. Puppies grow up with everyday situations and sounds and are thereby carefully socialized. Visits are possible from the fourth week of life; moving to the new home takes place no earlier than the ninth week. When handed over, the puppies have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed several times and provided with an EU pet passport.
