Rebecca Redfern Labrador Retriever breeder in Swadlincote United Kingdom

This Swadlincote Labrador Retriever breeding programme, linked to The Kennel Club, reports health-tested working-line parents and carefully assessed homes for its puppies.

Based in Swadlincote, this Labrador Retriever breeding programme is associated with The Kennel Club and its Assured Breeder Scheme. It focuses on working-line Labradors raised around a family dog described as calm, affectionate, loyal and well trained. The breeding dogs are noted for their steady temperaments and positive interaction with children. The first litter from Ruby comprised eight healthy puppies, born overnight from 2 to 3 April. The litter included black and yellow males and females. Both parents are reported as fully health tested in accordance with Kennel Club recommendations, with eye examinations and hip and elbow assessments completed. The stated coefficient of inbreeding is 6.4%, below the breed average. The sire is presented as an experienced working gundog, while the dam is a working-line Labrador. Prospective homes are assessed carefully, including veterinary checks. A non-refundable deposit is requested to reserve a puppy, and breeding endorsements apply to the litter, with the possibility of later removal for owners wishing to breed.
