Kennel Ravnsgaard in Tørring breeds Labrador Retriever of the classic type, with a focus on show lines. The dogs are an important part of the kennel’s everyday life and leisure time, and the breeding participates both in hunting training and at shows. The kennel has completed the DKK breeder education. The puppies are born in the living room of the home and grow up inside the house. Great emphasis is placed on socialisation and environmental training through various experiences outside the home, including car rides, trips to the beach, visits to a residential facility for people with intellectual disabilities and walking along the pedestrian street. The kennel invests a great deal of time in both adult dogs and puppies and therefore selects buyers after an initial conversation. When the puppies are around six and a half weeks old, they are tested. Based on the test, the kennel helps the approved buyer choose the puppy that is the best fit.
