Rasholm's

Rasholm's is a small kennel in Jyllinge that breeds Silky Terriers. The kennel has had experience with the breed since 1992 and has completed DKK's breeder education. Over the years, the interests have included agility, rally and especially dog shows, while the dogs at the same time live as part of the family. The goal is to breed healthy, breed-typical family dogs with a good temperament. The Silky Terrier is described as a pretty, cheerful and uncomplicated companion that is intelligent and easy to train. Behind the silky coat, however, there is a real terrier, not merely a lapdog. The breed needs a central place in the family, exercise and the opportunity to move freely. It is fond of children and play and bonds with the whole family, often especially with one person. With suitable activity, it can be suited to life in an apartment. The coat requires thorough care, but the work is described as relatively manageable.
