Ragburry Ragdolls is a small-scale Ragdoll cattery in Colchester, focused on pedigree kittens raised with close individual attention. The breeding cats come from European lines, and the cattery is TICA registered and licensed by Tendring Council. Its programme has also earned national winner recognition in the United States.
Health and temperament guide the selection of breeding cats. Parents undergo health screening, including HCM testing, echocardiograms and renal ultrasounds, while blood groups are recorded. Kittens are monitored from birth for their development, health, conformation and character, with particular care given to identifying potential show-quality kittens.
Raised in an active family home, the kittens become familiar with everyday sounds, handling and household life. They are described as affectionate, confident and sociable companions. Kittens leave after a veterinary check, vaccinations, microchipping and up-to-date parasite treatment, with care guidance, a familiar-scented blanket and ongoing support from the cattery.
