Princes de la Roses

Since 2008, Princes de la Roses has been dedicated on a small scale to breeding Mexican Hairless Dogs, also known as Xoloitzcuintle, in the Medium and Miniature sizes. The breeding facility is located in Weiding in the Upper Palatinate, by the Bavarian Forest not far from the Czech border, and is affiliated with the Club für Exotische Rassehunde e.V. The puppies are born in a family environment and spend their first time right in the household. Everyday sounds, smells and lively family life are therefore part of their surroundings from the very beginning. They are not kept in kennels or exclusively outdoors. The forest directly by the house additionally provides space for age-appropriate exploration and play. Health and careful socialization are the priorities for Princes de la Roses. Instead of close line breeding, the breeding program relies on outcrossing and supplementing the lines with healthy new blood, including from abroad. Interested parties can obtain information even before a planned litter. Even after the puppies have been placed, the breeding facility supports the new families with questions and is pleased to receive updates on the dogs’ further development.
