Pinea Castle

The Cattery Pinea Castle is located in Konstanz on Lake Constance and is dedicated to breeding Maine Coon cats. The animals live as cherished family members in a home environment and can move freely throughout the entire home. A loving, everyday-oriented approach shapes life together with the cats. Pinea Castle’s long-term breeding focus is on the appearance of older lines. The current breeding approach combines healthy show lines with old US lines. The aim is to produce typey, large-framed and, above all, healthy Maine Coons with a balanced and stable temperament. The cats are tested for hereditary diseases; only healthy animals are considered for breeding. Kittens do not move into single-cat households and are not placed before the age of 16 weeks. When they leave, they are vaccinated, well socialized and receive a DEKZV pedigree.
