Paws of Scheel is a home-based breeder of Chihuahuas in North Jutland near Hammer Bakker. The breeding programme places emphasis on dogs that conform to the breed type, and on combining a stable temperament with a healthy physique. The puppies therefore grow up in a home environment with a focus on the breed's characteristics and well-being.
Behind the breeding programme is a DKK breeder education as well as the Dog Handler Education. This professional background is supplemented by studies in dog behaviour at Nordjysk Dyreadfærdsklinik. Paws of Scheel thus prioritises knowledge of breeding, dog keeping and behaviour in its work with the breed.
The breeding programme also has experience in dog training and competitive agility. This includes previous training as an instructor in obedience and agility at DCH as well as active participation in agility at competition level. The combined experience supports the ambition of breeding breed-typical Chihuahuas with a good temperament and a healthy body.
