of Wild Distance is a small hobby cattery for Maine Coons in Berlin. The focus is on preserving this impressive, affectionate breed in its natural beauty. The breeding program is aimed at strong, healthy, people-oriented cats with good socialization and the wild expression typical of the breed. The number of breeding cats is deliberately kept manageable. They come from high-quality breeding lines and do not live individually, but together as a group with close integration into family life. This gives the cats a variety of social contacts in everyday life and an environment intended to meet their needs. The animals receive veterinary care; only healthy and well-socialized cats are considered for breeding. When they leave, the kittens are dewormed and vaccinated. They are also familiar with life in a family environment and are prepared accordingly for their future path.
