The Suriya kennel is dedicated to the loving breeding of English Whippets on a small, family-oriented scale near Kassel. The kennel, registered since 1990 and internationally protected, is operated by the Deutscher Windhundzucht- und Rennverband e.V. (DWZRV). Whippets have been part of the kennel’s everyday life since 2006 and are especially valued for their friendly, appealing nature. The first litter was born in February 2018; since then, the kennel has raised eleven Whippet litters. From the very beginning, the puppies live within the family and together with the existing pack of dogs. This gives them a wide range of social experiences early on and prepares them carefully for their future lives. The puppies are raised with veterinary supervision. They are vaccinated, regularly dewormed and handed over with an EU pet passport as well as VDH, DWZB and FCI papers. Even after the puppies move into their new homes, the kennel continues to advise and support interested parties and the families of its puppies.
