The Lothloriens Empire kennel in Nauen is dedicated to the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The connection with this breed has family roots and, after acquiring a Cavalier again, led to the establishment of their own breeding programme. The kennel name was protected in 2010; the first litter followed in July 2011. The focus is on Cavaliers in the colours Blenheim, Tricolour, Black and Tan and Ruby. The dogs live as family pets in a house with a garden and are included in the daily routines. The rearing process carefully accompanies the puppies’ development, from their first discoveries until they leave. Health is highly important to the breeding programme: The breeding dogs are examined regularly. As a member of the Cavalier-King-Charles-Spaniel Club Deutschland e.V., the breeding programme remains connected to the breed. To help with the transition to their new home, the puppies receive their familiar food, starter packs and a cloth with a familiar scent. Even after the puppies have been handed over, the breeding programme remains available to their families as a point of contact.
