This health precaution is part of the breeding programme’s standards and forms an important basis for raising the litters. The puppies move to their new homes at the age of ten weeks. Until they are handed over, they are regularly dewormed and vaccinated. They are also tattooed, receive their documents and are given a ration of their familiar food to take with them.
