Of Cathi’s Meadow Garden is an Alaskan Malamute kennel in Horb am Neckar, in the Neckar Valley on the edge of the Black Forest. The kennel is dedicated to Nordic sled dogs and combines breeding with sled dog sports. The kennel is recognized according to FCI standards and is a member of the Deutscher Club für Nordische Hunde e.V. The focus is on responsible interaction with the dogs and their own pack. The kennel aims to preserve the characteristics of the Alaskan Malamute while also contributing to a healthy, versatile breed. Insights into the dogs’ life together and the work of the kennel complement the presentation of the breeding program. The breeding foundation is based on lines from Germany, Sweden, Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus. Swedish working lines were also included to expand the international gene pool.
