Northern Paws

Northern Paws is a small hobby cattery for Norwegian Forest Cats in Tulln. The cattery is dedicated to this distinctive cat breed and focuses its work on animals that conform to the recognized breed standard. The focus is on responsible breeding on a manageable scale. A key concern of Northern Paws is the health of the Norwegian Forest Cats. At the same time, the cattery pays attention to a breed-typical expression: The cats should appear large and powerful and display the characteristic features valued in Norwegian Forest Cats. These goals are combined with the aim of preserving the special qualities of the breed. In addition to appearance, the animals’ temperament is also important. Northern Paws values people-oriented cats with a balanced character. The cattery thus pursues the goal of producing healthy, even-tempered Norwegian Forest Cats whose type, strength and closeness to people correspond to the desired breed image.
