MOSELUND FAMILY LABS

Moselund Family Labs is a small, serious kennel breeding brown Labrador Retrievers in Vildbjerg. The dogs live as part of the family in the countryside with access to fields and woodland, and the kennel actively participates in training. The aim is breed-typical Labradors of the old-fashioned type with a friendly temperament, joy in working and a desire to cooperate. The breeding dogs are examined before mating with X-rays, an eye examination, a general health check and relevant DNA tests. The puppies are born and raised in the home, where they become accustomed to the sounds of everyday life. Socialisation is given high priority during the first eight weeks, and the puppies are gradually given the opportunity to stay outdoors when their age and the season make it appropriate. The puppies are placed in homes that can meet the breed’s need for activity and occupation. At departure, they have received worming treatment twice, a microchip, vaccination and a health check. They are delivered with a DKK Basis+ pedigree and DKK contract. The kennel has completed DKK's breeder education and follows DKK's and Dansk Retriever Klub's breeding restrictions and ethical recommendations.
