Midola’s is a Norwegian Forest Cat breeder based in Zagreb, with health placed at the centre of its breeding programme. DNA screening is used when selecting breeding cats, and only animals reported as PKdef N/N and GSD IV N/N are considered for planned litters.
The same selection approach includes normal HCM results and normal hip assessments. Alongside these health criteria, Midola’s gives particular importance to temperament. Its cats are expected to be affectionate, gentle companions, and they live closely with the household, sharing the indoor living spaces.
The programme also seeks Norwegian Forest Cats with a strong build and a well-structured coat. These physical qualities are pursued in line with WCF standards, while remaining part of a broader set of priorities in which health comes first, followed by an especially pleasant character and sound breed type.
