MELISSA SWAN Dachshund breeder in Ashford · United Kingdom

Based in Ashford, this home-based breeder raises Miniature American Shepherds as family dogs rather than in a kennel environment. The dogs live alongside the household and are described as being closely integrated into family life. The breeder holds a five-star licence and is Kennel Club Assured. The breeding programme focuses on supporting the breed’s future while producing attractive dogs with excellent temperaments. Finding lasting, suitable homes for each puppy is an important priority, with particular care given to placing puppies with people able to offer them a permanent home. The breeder encourages informed and responsible puppy choices rather than impulsive purchases. Attention is drawn to health concerns that may affect the breed, including dilute colours and colour dilution alopecia, double dapple, IVDD, and other inherited issues. The emphasis is on choosing an ethical, licensed breeder and researching breed health carefully.
