Mastines La Rural Spanish Mastiff breeder · Spain

La Rural Conservation and Breeding of Spanish Mastiffs is a center dedicated to preserving, breeding, and developing the native or traditional Spanish Mastiff. Its work is aimed at maintaining the qualities characteristic of this dog breed, historically linked to livestock farming, from a perspective of responsible conservation. The center carries out its activity within the regulatory framework applicable to breeding and animal welfare in Galicia and Spain. It also has recognition in the cynological field through the Real Sociedad Canina de España and the Fédération Cynologique Internationale. The selection and reproduction of its specimens seek to respect the origin of the native Spanish Mastiff, preserve its standard, and promote the improvement of its genetics. La Rural places this objective in a current and sustainable context, with the intention of expanding knowledge and the presence of the breed.
