Die Manderleys Cattery has been dedicated to breeding Tonkinese since 1994 and has also been breeding Asian Shorthair since 2012. In Tonkinese, the cattery combines characteristics of their Burmese and Siamese ancestors: They are considered intelligent, sociable and particularly people-oriented. The cats grow up in a family environment and receive plenty of affection from the very beginning. This approach is intended to encourage their strong desire to bond. Since Tonkinese seek the company of people and other cats, the cattery places importance on ensuring that they are not kept alone. The breeding program is registered with TICA through the Austrian Blue Danube Cat Club. Kittens are given with the basic vaccinations against feline panleukopenia and cat flu; a pedigree and TICA registration are provided for each animal. Pet-quality animals are offered at a fixed stated price, while show and breeding animals are priced higher.
