The Maine Coon Cattery of Saxon Switzerland is located in Pirna in Saxon Switzerland, which also inspired its name. The cats live together with the cattery in a large house and are naturally part of everyday family life there. The focus is on close coexistence, in which the animals are treated as full-fledged family members. The living areas of the house are accessible to the Maine Coons. In addition, they have a generously designed outdoor enclosure at their disposal, allowing them to use outdoor areas alongside life in the house. The housing is designed to offer the cats plenty of space in their daily coexistence and to permanently integrate them into the family environment. The cattery expects offspring about twice a year. This means that the breeding program focuses on a few litters over the course of the year and on the young Maine Coons growing up in a domestic setting.
