Maine Collective

Maine Collective is a Maine Coon cat breeder based in Rushden and licensed by North Northamptonshire Council. The cattery focuses on raising striking Maine Coon kittens in a home setting, where they grow up alongside children and other cats. Both parent cats belong to the breeding programme, while the male is reserved solely for the breeder’s own females. The cats receive comprehensive health checks and genetic screening through Langfords. The breeding cats have tested negative, including as non-carriers where applicable, for PKDef and HCM. They have also received negative results for FIV and FeLV, supporting the cattery’s careful approach to the health of its Maine Coons. Maine Collective offers opportunities to meet kittens in person once they reach eight weeks of age. Video viewings can also be arranged at any stage, allowing future homes to follow the kittens before an in-person visit. The breeder places emphasis on a familiar, social environment for its cats and kittens.
