Mai from Craig-na-dun

Mai from Craig-na-dun is a dog breeder in Bredebro focusing on the Mastiff breed. The breeding programme places emphasis on professional knowledge of breeding and reproduction as a central part of the work with this molosser breed. In February 2020, the breeding programme participated in a breeder training course in Germany as well as a seminar for new breeders in Darmstadt. The teaching covered reproductive medicine, with topics in gynaecology, andrology and neonatology, which are specialised areas of veterinary practice. In July 2020, Mai from Craig-na-dun also participated in a breeding seminar organised by Club of Molosser under the umbrella organisations VDH and FCI. The seminars demonstrate an interest in breeding-related issues and knowledge connected with reproduction and the care of dogs in the early stages of life.
