Løvenborgs Bernese Mountain Dog breeder in Haslev · Denmark

Løvenborgs is a family-oriented Bernese Mountain Dog breeding program at a country property in Haslev. The dogs are closely integrated into the family’s everyday life and live as family dogs, following the life around the home. Close companionship is a central part of the breeding program’s setting and the way the dogs are kept. The breeding program places great emphasis on health and a good temperament. All the dogs have been genetically tested, and diagnostic imaging examinations have been carried out with a focus on ED, HD and OCD. The examinations are regarded as an important basis for the breeding work, but Løvenborgs also emphasizes that test results cannot provide a certain guarantee of an individual dog’s lifespan. Løvenborgs has completed DKK's breeder education. The aim is to make a thorough effort to breed healthy and lovely Bernese Mountain Dogs, while prioritizing the breed’s well-being and stable temperament in the work with the dogs.
