Lawaetz

Kennel Lawaetz in Grindsted breeds Old Danish Pointing Dog with an emphasis on healthy, active and mentally well-functioning dogs. Breeding is seen as a long-term undertaking, where each litter should contribute positively to the breed’s development. The kennel has completed DKK breeder training. Before a dog is used for breeding, its health is examined. Ability to cooperate and willingness to work are also assessed through, for example, tracking or obedience tests. Breed type is also an important criterion, and the breeding dogs must have achieved at least the rating excellent at an official show. The dogs are an integrated part of the kennel’s everyday life and live together with the family. Lawaetz thus places emphasis on health, temperament, working abilities and a breed-typical expression in the breeding of Old Danish Pointing Dog.
