Lanja's Star Labrador Retriever breeder in Mørkøv · Denmark

Lanja's Star is a Labrador Retriever kennel based in Mørkøv. The kennel's adult dogs live in the home and are an integral part of the family's everyday life. Lanja's Star has completed DKK's breeder education and places emphasis on a close, homely environment for the dogs. The puppies grow up together with the kennel's other dogs before leaving for their new families. Focused work is done to prepare the puppies for the transition through socialisation and many safe, positive experiences. These experiences take place both in the home, in the garden and outdoors, so the puppies encounter different impressions during their first time. After the puppies move to their new homes, Lanja's Star values continued contact with many of the families. The kennel also organises an annual puppy reunion, where former puppy buyers and their dogs gather. This provides an opportunity to follow the continued development of several of the dogs and maintain the community around the kennel.
