LakeRagdolls is a small, family-run Ragdoll cattery in Berlin. The focus is on the responsible breeding of this special cat breed. The aim is to preserve the typical, unmistakable characteristics of the Ragdoll and further develop them through the breeding work. Only healthy cats are selected for breeding. All animals used have been genetically tested for HCM and PKD. LakeRagdolls thus combines a focus on the characteristic traits of the breed with clear attention to the health requirements of the breeding cats. The animals’ ancestry can be traced to traditional Ragdoll lines, which serve as the foundation of the breeding program. This heritage supports the goal of preserving breed-typical characteristics across generations. In this way, the cattery combines a family setting, targeted selection of the animals, and firmly established genetic health checks.
