Klaphattens Brittany Spaniel breeder in Randers SØ · Denmark

Klaphattens is a Breton breeding kennel in Randers SØ with DKK breeder training. The kennel has had the breed since 1994 and emphasizes its place both in everyday life and during hunting. The goal is to breed dogs that can naturally become part of an active hunting family. In the breeding work, healthy, breed-typical and easily trainable dogs are prioritized. Particular emphasis is placed on willingness to cooperate, steady work on birds, enjoyment of water and great interest in retrieving tasks in connection with practical hunting. Breeding partners are selected through a network of breeders in the EU, often with French male dogs, but Danish dogs may also be included. Puppies are available occasionally and are exclusively placed with hunters. The whole family carefully participates in the puppies’ first period, from birth until they move away from home. Klaphattens also offers guidance on training the puppy when needed.
