Kapelgaard Labrador Retriever breeder in Fredericia · Denmark

Kapelgaard is a family breeder of Labrador Retriever and Cavalier King Charles in Fredericia. The breeding operation has a cosy, homely setting and only plans litters occasionally. As a DKK-trained breeder, the operation places emphasis on a responsible approach to breeding and on good conditions for the dogs. The puppies grow up in the family living room as a natural part of everyday life. They therefore gain early experience with ordinary sounds and activities in family life. The property is located in the countryside, where there are also cats, so the puppies become accustomed to being around cats. Health has a central place at Kapelgaard. The breeding operation carries out the relevant examinations required by Dansk Kennel Klub for the breeds, with the aim of ensuring healthy dogs. The focus is on giving each litter a secure start in familiar, close surroundings and on following the puppies’ development during their first period.
