John Staton Whippet breeder in Rotherham · United Kingdom

Based in Rotherham, this dog breeder is dedicated to the Whippet, with an emphasis on producing dogs suited to the show ring. The breeding programme has been developed since 2016 and centres on the qualities sought in show-quality Whippets. The breeder carefully brings together bloodlines considered to be complementary, with the aim of producing particularly appealing puppies. This considered approach reflects a focus on the breed and on the selection of dogs for the programme. Retired females remain with the breeder rather than being rehomed. They continue to be regarded as valued companions and part of the household. The establishment is associated with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and offers a Whippet-focused breeding activity in Rotherham.
