The Iovilius breeding establishment in Ober-Ramstadt is dedicated to the Basset Artésien Normand, a breed originally developed for hunting small game. Today, this dog is valued above all as a charming, cheerful and affectionate companion with a pronounced character of its own. For Iovilius, the adult dogs are part of everyday family life. The puppies are also raised in the household and garden, and from their first weeks of life they encounter the sounds and varied impressions of daily life together. This allows them to become familiar with their surroundings from the very beginning. After the puppies leave, the breeding establishment remains available to the new owners as a contact for questions concerning their dogs and places importance on maintaining a lasting exchange.
