Hulens

Hulens is a dog breeder in Børkop with DKK breeder training and breeding of Hygen Hounds. Emphasis is placed on calm, affectionate dogs with contact with the handler and a desire to work. The goal is hunting dogs that are easy to train and function well in the family and with other dogs. The breeding work focuses on a stable temperament, a strong desire to work and perseverance. The dogs must be able to be used for hunting in varied terrain and work with commitment before, during and after the shot. Hulens also focuses on the FCI breed standard. Training takes place all year round, so the dogs are ready for the demands of the hunting season. Outside the season, work is done on obedience, retrieving, directing on land and in water, as well as tracking wounded game. Hulens also participates in trials aimed at hunting champion titles and places emphasis on cooperation between dog and handler.
