Breeding Dachshunds, Beagles, Labrador Retrievers and Border Terriers on a restored farm in the Vijfherenlanden, where the puppies grow up in the house.
V/d Hoefstal, also known as De Laanhoeve, is a breeder of Dachshunds, Beagles, Labrador Retrievers and Border Terriers in the Vijfherenlanden region.
The breeding operation is run by Richard, Kees and their son Thomas, on a restored farm dating from the 1890s where they have been based since 2017; they also keep horses.
The first Border Terriers and Labradors were born in 2021. Dachshunds are bred in several coat types and sizes.
The puppies are born in the house and grow up amid busy family life, with dogs, cats, horses, visitors and playing children.
The breeding dogs undergo medical and ophthalmological examinations, genetic tests and an assessment by official judges before breeding.
The kennels are registered with the FCI and the dogs are shown at official exhibitions.
Puppies are vaccinated, dewormed and receive an official pedigree.
Visitors are welcome to meet the kennels and dogs.
