Heaven over the Highlands is a small hobby kennel for Shetland Sheepdogs, also known as Shelties, in Hamm on the edge of the Ruhr area. The dogs live with the kennel in a house with a spacious garden. The kennel is affiliated with the Shetland Sheepdog Interessengemeinschaft e.V. The enthusiasm for the breed arose during a visit to a dog training ground. The first Sheltie moved in in 2004 and impressed with its character. In 2007, a second female dog was added after it became clear that the first female dog could not be bred for health reasons. The joy of the two female dogs led to the decision to establish a kennel of their own. One of the female dogs met the requirements for breeding approval. The original introductory text initially reports on the planning of a first litter and later on the expectation of an I-litter.
