Heart of green Island is a dog breeding establishment in Koblenz dedicated to the Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier. The enthusiasm for this rare breed arose from the desire for a family dog that would fit into a daily life shaped by animals. After a long search, the choice fell on the characterful little terrier from Ireland. Its friendly, even-tempered and eager-to-learn nature is particularly appreciated. The Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier is considered affectionate, child-friendly and attentive, while also being a rather calm companion with little hair loss. The first female dog of the breeding establishment showed much curiosity, social compatibility and zest for life in everyday life together, and established a close bond. This experience led to the breeding commitment to the little-known Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier. Heart of green Island aims to help preserve the breed and its special characteristics. The breeding establishment is affiliated with the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. and places the cheerful, loyal family companion at the centre.
