Hauxwell House

Hauxwell House has its roots in a stay in England in the mid-1990s, where the interest in whippets was established alongside work with horses and dressage. The kennel’s first bitch came from a well-established English breeding line and became the starting point for the subsequent breeding work. She achieved a Danish championship title, and several of her littermates likewise became champions in various countries. The breeding is a small, exclusive home breeding of whippets, where each combination is carefully considered. Hauxwell House places equal emphasis on the breed’s expression, a well-functioning temperament and health. The aim is not to prioritise one area at the expense of the others, but to unite them in dogs that embody the breed’s qualities. In breeding terms, Hauxwell House draws especially on classic English lines. The breeding is based in Allerød and has completed the DKK breeder education programme. The history and lines continue to form the framework for a small whippet breeding programme focused on quality and well-considered choices.
