The kennel breeds Bouvier des Ardennes, an original cattle-driving dog of FCI Group 1, Section 2. The aim is to preserve its suitability as a capable working helper. Selection is therefore based on the working characteristics of the breed developed over a long period. Performance, a sound temperament and health determine the breeding objectives; the breed-typical appearance also counts. The breeding bitches are approved by the Deutscher Bouvier-Club. They have completed aptitude and temperament tests, a standard assessment, mandatory shows, a 20-kilometre endurance test by bicycle and health examinations. The kennel and every litter are inspected by the Deutscher Bouvier-Club von 1977 e.V. The offspring thereby represent the commitment to preserving the working aptitudes and characteristics of the Bouvier des Ardennes in the long term.
