Fru Vinthers

Fru Vinthers is a small home-based breeding program of British Shorthair in Skive. The breeding program has a manageable framework, where the cats’ well-being is central, and where work with the breed takes place close to the ordinary everyday life of the home. The focus is solely on this one cat breed. First and foremost, emphasis is placed on ensuring that the cats are doing well. This priority forms the basis for the breeding program’s approach to both the cats and the kittens as they grow up and gradually become ready for life in a new home. Before the kittens move to their new owners, the aim is for them to be both healthy and well socialized. Fru Vinthers thus highlights an upbringing in which health, contact, and acclimatization to a home environment are essential elements before the transition from the breeding program to the future family.
