The Ebberup kennel breeds English Pointers for the active hunter. The goal is dogs that can participate in hunting in the mountains, in the field and in the forest, with emphasis on useful hunting qualities, efficiency and a well-functioning temperament. In the breeding work, only dogs that have received awards in trials in the forest, mountains or field, or that have otherwise demonstrated their qualities during bird hunting, are selected. This selection is based on documented practical experience and the qualities the kennel prioritizes in the breed. The kennel has completed DKK’s breeder education. Emphasis is therefore placed on a targeted approach to breeding English Pointers, where hunting utility and temperament are central criteria for the dogs included in the work.
