Finstar

Finstar is a small-scale home breeder of French Bulldogs based in Turku. Breeding takes place in a home environment, and the starting point of the activity is a breed-typical French Bulldog. The small-scale breeding work focuses on dogs whose everyday life is part of ordinary home life. In breeding selections, Finstar emphasizes health, a good temperament and the type characteristic of the breed. The qualities of individuals selected for breeding are assessed through these goals. The aim is to preserve the breed’s characteristic features related to the French Bulldog’s well-being, temperament and appearance. The breeder’s own dogs live a peaceful life as household pets. Alongside everyday home life, Finstar actively participates in dog shows, which are part of the dogs’ hobbies. At shows, the breeder’s dogs get to be presented, while the activity remains closely integrated into a homely and relaxed everyday life with dogs.
