Fides Augusta breeds Border Collies in Horgau, in the Western Forests near Augsburg. The dogs live together with the family and other animals in a house with a large garden in a natural setting. As permanent family members, they take part in everyday life as well as activities in dog sports, shows and walks in the forest and countryside. The breeding program is affiliated with the Club für Britische Hütehunde e. V. and focuses on health, a balanced temperament and breed-typical characteristics. Fides Augusta places importance on responsible care and on a close bond between the dogs and the family environment. The puppies spend their first time within the family and get to know their surroundings at an appropriate pace. In addition to peace and security, they receive various positive impressions that support their socialization. For the young Border Collies, the breeding program seeks people who approach the breed consciously and wish to welcome the dog as a long-term family and life companion.
