The Labrador Retriever kennel Fellow for Life in Stolberg arose from many years of enthusiasm for this breed. The first Labrador sparked an interest in a friendly, even-tempered and eager-to-work family dog. The quiet, natural surroundings with forests also shaped the path of the kennel. Through puppy and young dog training, the path led to dummy work as a hunting substitute training. This shared activity made the retriever-typical eagerness to work, obedience and pronounced willingness to cooperate particularly clear. Since 2022, Fellow for Life has bred with the Deutscher Retriever Club e.V. The focus is on Labrador Retrievers with carefully documented health, suitable aptitudes for retriever work and a friendly, even-tempered nature. The kennel also places importance on comprehensible breeding data and documenting its breeding development. Examination results and breeding statistics already achieved are intended to make its own breeding goals transparent.
