ENCI is a dog breeding kennel located in Camugnano, in the Bolognese Apennines, dedicated to the Alaskan Klee Kai. The activity takes place in a natural environment, about an hour from both Bologna and Florence. The kennel offers occasional litters, following an approach attentive to breed selection.
For the choice of breeding pairs, ENCI carefully considers various aspects. The parents undergo tests related to breed diseases, while temperament and morphology are included in the evaluation of matings. The limited planning of births makes it possible to devote attention to each litter.
The puppies receive a socialization programme with people and other dogs. They are also gradually accustomed to handling, bathing, blow-drying and walking on a leash. These experiences accompany the puppies’ first steps and foster their familiarity with normal daily activities.
