The ENCI kennel, dedicated to Dachshunds in Torrita di Siena, raises its dogs in a home environment. The adults have ample space to move around and play and share the family’s daily life, in an environment that is carefully supervised. Puppies stay with their mother until they reach three months of age. During this period, they develop socialisation with people and other dogs, also becoming accustomed to the noises associated with caring for the spaces, from garden tools to utensils. At the time of placement, they receive their pedigree and their vaccination schedule is complete. The choice of pairings aims to preserve both the morphological characteristics and the temperament of the Dachshunds. Each dam has a maximum of three litters over the course of her life. The breeding dogs undergo testing for hereditary genetic diseases, and the kennel selects high-pedigree bloodlines, offering a health guarantee for each puppy born.
