Empowering Companions...

Empowering Companions is a small Border Collie hobby kennel in Deißlingen, located between the Black Forest and the Swabian Jura. The focus is on dogs that are valued as attentive and active companions. The kennel combines life in a varied landscape with close involvement with the dogs in everyday life. The dogs from Empowering Companions are also active in a therapeutic setting: They form a therapy assistance dog team for child and adolescent psychiatry. This task underscores the importance of a balanced temperament, a good bond and careful work with the dogs. Outside this area of work too, exercise in nature and regular training are part of the kennel’s everyday life. Empowering Companions is a member of Club für Britische Hütehunde e.V. and is dedicated to the Border Collie as a versatile dog whose needs for activity and shared engagement are taken into account.
