Ehen-n-ma Azawakh breeder in Gramzow · Germany

Ehen-n-ma is an Azawakh kennel in Gramzow and is affiliated with the Deutscher Windhundzucht- und Rennverband e.V. (DWZRV). Since the early 2000s, the breed has been the focus of the kennel; its character, performance and ability to form bonds are valued. The breeding philosophy is also guided by the Azawakh’s roots in the Sahel. A female dog from Mali prompted an interest in the cultural environment of the Tuareg. Trips to Niger enabled observations of the breed’s diversity and its adaptation to desert life. The dogs live in the house in a mixed pack, separated by sex during heat. Puppies grow up in the household environment and gradually encounter adult Azawakhs. The aim is to produce typey dogs with beauty and performance, as well as well-established qualities such as composure, openness and balance.
