Egelykke Fox Terrier breeder in Bredsten · Denmark

Kennel Egelykke in Bredsten has bred smooth-haired Fox Terriers since 1984 and normally has one to two litters a year. The breeding is based on Danish Kennel Club-approved dogs that meet the club’s requirements for pedigree registration. The dogs are shown at exhibitions before they enter breeding, and both bitches and used males are selected for breed type, temperament and health. The puppies are born in the family’s living room and grow up close to the family’s everyday activities, children and the sounds of daily life. When they move to their new homes, they have been examined by a veterinarian, treated for worms, vaccinated, microchipped and registered. They receive a DKK pedigree as well as a puppy package containing, among other things, food and toys. Egelykke is happy to follow the puppies during their first year and continues to offer advice when needed. Puppy buyers are assessed carefully so that the breed is a good fit for the home. A Fox Terrier is described as a good family dog that thrives with loving, firm boundaries as well as both mental and physical stimulation.
