Dosmarin

Dosmarin is a German Shepherd breeder based in Jyväskylä, whose dogs grow up in a home environment. The foundation of the breeding program is formed by both show-line German Shepherds and German Shepherds combining different lines. The activity is focused on breeding the breed in a home-like environment. When selecting breeding dogs, attention is paid to health. Dosmarin strives to use in breeding only dogs whose hips and elbows are healthy. This selection criterion related to health examinations is one of the central foundations of the breeder’s breeding work. The offspring have found a wide variety of tasks and homes. Dosmarin’s offspring have been placed, among other roles, as border dogs, guide dogs and for police use. Some of the dogs live as hobby dogs or ordinary household dogs, which reflects the different future roles of the offspring.
