Dorset council Maltese breeder in Blandford Forum · United Kingdom

Dorset Council is a dog breeder based in Blandford Forum, specialising in the Maltese. The kennel keeps a sizeable family group of Maltese as companion dogs in a home environment, where they share everyday life and receive close attention. Its approach places the dogs’ comfort and family integration at the centre of their care. The breeder also gives a place to dogs needing a new home, welcoming them into the household alongside the resident dogs. It has experience of the show world, with Maltese presented at events including Crufts from 2023, and is involved with the UK Maltese Club committee. Litters are planned only occasionally. Puppies have joined homes as companions and therapy dogs, and Dorset Council values lasting contact with the families who welcome them. Expressions of interest for future litters may be placed on a waiting list.
